Evolved Journey— A Comparison Of Me Vs. Me

Every person has gone through the school life friendships, which gave him some sweet and some bitter lessons. And those lessons will always shine in his life. However, those friendship days from school life were always carefree days but now, nothing is like that.

A girl sitting in a school classroom with her friends, because their teacher is absent and they got free period so that’s why she is laughing her lungs out and singing with her teenage girls group. They are making fun of each other’s drawing and singing in unpleasant voice while they hear lunch break bell and run towards canteen to get their lunch. Icing on the cake is she live her peaceful days without knowing that nothing will remain same.

After some years, that same girl sitting in university classroom while her ears listen those echoes of laughter and thinking about those school days which she lived with her friends who used to say I’m your best friend, you can share with me anything anytime Javeria, I will support you in every matter, we will talk everyday whenever our school life will end, we will meet whenever we wish, but today they are just in my contact list but nowhere, Lol. Now it feels nothing but nostalgia. Now my life is not peaceful as it used to be. Now I can’t go back to those days. Ah my heart aches!

The person I was in the school is not the same person who navigates the complexities of adulthood today. I always think that life is like a river which is continuously in it’s flow but we are the person who interrupt in it. Moreover, as I see myself in my teenage days is so heartwarming but I guess it’s the beauty of nostalgia. If I wasn’t like that, I wouldn’t be like this now.

Whenever a person grown up and looks back; he always saw his childhood and teenage days. I’m also like that I feel jealous to myself because now I just have different variants of tensions like family problems, career tension and etc etc.

Also, I learn some good lessons from my teenage days that whenever I stuck in some problem I always pray to Allah because he is the only one who listens me because I know problems are always for short time of period. Additionally, when you’ve good lessons so there are bad lessons also. Bitter lesson is that I’m not going to believe in any person who says I’m your friend. To be honest no one is your friend except you. My best friend is my old me just because of my those so-called friends who betray me in the name of friendship.

To conclude that, always learn from your every experience. I know you acknowledged that present holds its own beauty and it is the real maturity which realize about past lessons. Just stay humble and stay true to your values and cherish this journey. (A note from myself to myself).
