Geopolitical rivalries have historically driven great powers to impose hegemony, leading to widespread exploitation and conflict. From colonialism to the Cold War and today’s US-China tensions, state interests have consistently overshadowed human security. A shift towards a more human-centric, idealistic approach is urgently needed for global peace.
