Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian outlined this position in response to a question about U.S. President Donald Trump’s controversial proposal that the United States should “take over” and “own” Gaza after relocating Palestinians to neighboring countries.
Trump’s remarks have ignited global debate, with some framing them as a contentious attempt to resolve a protracted crisis, while others interpret them as emblematic of his expansionist rhetoric, heightening concerns about U.S. intentions.
