The Legacy of Yahya Sinwar 

Yahya Sinwar was recently martyred by Israel, continuing a pattern of targeting Palestinian leadership. Israeli forces confirmed his death through DNA verification, announcing that three individuals were killed in the attack. Born in 1962 in the Khan Younis refugee camp, Yahya became an emblem of Palestinian resistance. At that time, Gaza was under Egyptian control, and the Palestinian people faced severe hardships. His life was marked by struggle and adversity from the beginning, but he showed remarkable resilience and determination.

Yaya enrolled at the Islamic University of Gaza. His interest in the Palestinian resistance deepened, and he joined a student organization, quickly emerging as a leader. After graduating, he established an organization called “Majd,” dedicated to protecting Palestine from Israeli espionage. In 2008, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor but survived after undergoing treatment by Israeli doctors.

Yahya’s journey took a significant turn after his release. When he assumed a prominent position within Hamas.
