This heartfelt poem honors the unwavering dedication and silent strength of laborers whose efforts shape the world we live in.
Wages of Honour

Oh wow, it's the first of May,
The world observes Labour Day.
A day of rest, a moment to pause,
To honour workers and their cause.
The ones who shape our world each hour,
With sweat and strength, they build with power.
They give us more than we repay,
For all they do each single day.
Their hands have built the homes we own,
The roads we cross, the seeds we've sown.
Their efforts tireless, strong, and true,
So much is owed, so much is due.
They toil beneath the burning sun,
Long days of labour, never done.
They earn so little, yet give their best,
Deserving dignity, peace, and rest.
They are the brave, the strong, the spine,
May their lives with safety shine.
May respect and fairness lead the way,
For every labourer, every day.
So on this day, lift hearts and cheer,
For every worker far and near.
Happy Labour Day, let's raise our voice,
And celebrate them, make it their choice.
