These dark days of my life

These dark days of my life,
Feel like an endless night,
Without the glow of your eyes,
I'm lost in a world devoid of light.

My body is tired and worn,
Without the delicate touch of your finger,
My heart is blazing and searing,
Longing for your warm embrace to linger.

My eyes burn with unshed tears,
Without your amazing sight,
My soul is filled with despair,
Without your love, it's a constant fight.

This pierce in my heart,
Is a gash that won't heal,
Without a drop of your love,
My heart's wounds will never seal.

These dark days of my life,
Will they ever end?
Without you by my side,
My heart will never mend.
